Well I did it. Signed up with SBC here in Indiana for their ISDN service. To be installed June 10. Can't get DSL or Cable, I live in a valley which knocks wireless out and don't want to take the $$ hit for satellite. Plus I'm tired of the junky dial-up speed which I connect. I will be using a Cisco 776 router and hopefully will be 3 computers getting access to the internet (not all at the same time). When I built my house I smart wired it. So getting cat5e to the other computers is done. All wiring terminates in a room in the basement. Should the router be placed in this room to feed the other computers? I'm a little worried about getting things going after everything is connected. Will I have to run Cisco software on all computers? My computer is the main computer then I have 2 others downstairs. All 3 computers are running Windows XP. I have probably rambled for my first post so I'll stop here for now. I would be most appreciative for any advice about getting things going. Looking forward to Friday!
