Is there a trial version of Peoplesoft I can download from their site?

Hi,

PeopleSoft does not have a trial version or single-user version at PeopleSoft 8. There are single-user versions for releases below PeopleSoft 8, but you only get the single-user version if you have already purchased the product for your company. Which really defeats the purpose for what what you are looking for.

PeopleSoft does allow "non-customers" to sign up for and take courses. If you want to do this, December is the best month, because PeopleSOft often reduces the cost of courses during this time. Unfortunately, I do not know if this is done for all students. I think there is a discount on courses going on right now.

Although you can take the courses, you will not have access to the software after the course ends. There is a web site for web-based training: Some of the courses are free. Take the PeopleTools tutorials at I have also heard that some universities and colleges are teaching PeopleSoft classes, but I have never heard a particular college or university identified.

You can find more information about the product on web site. Some general technology information is located at
Althought the software is not available for download - about 7 CDs - and complex to configure, hopefully tis information helps a little.

thanks
Ajay
