Hi!
Actually, in my job we have Netview.
Can we customize it, to poll to the servers (NT and Unix) to get the status of the networks cards, to see if the servers are alive, using SNMP (not ICMP) ?
That search for status, does the manager propagate it in parallel, or secuencially ?
Thanks
Gustavo

I want to poll my servers (Mostly W2K) for CPU, memory Utilization and create a graph, posted to a web page. The graph and web page part is not so hard, but finding a mib that will give me what I need, I am having problems with. The Generic Host swRunProc mib is rather cryptic.

Did you try with the standar MIB-II ?
