Getting iframes to behave like frames

Hi. I'm trying to build an IFrame interface that behaves a little like frames.

I want to be able to position and size them dynamically, then have a border inbetween them to drag their sizes as if they were two frames.

Is this possbile with iFrames and JavaScript?

Probably, yes... but I've got to ask - if you want the behaviour of frames, then why not use frames?

Mostly so pressing the back button works properly - or is there a better way?
