I have a report that groups data by year: 2003, 2004, etc. which I am calling my 'grouping label(s)'.
In the detail section under each year's grouping, I have a number of columns listed. My problem is that some of the groupings (years) contain enough detail rows that they extend to more than one report page length. I want to show the grouping label on the second page - something like:
"2003 - cont." but don't know how to do this. If I put the grouping label on the page header AND in the report's grouping header, I get the label twice on the first page - one label on top of the other - doesn't look professional. I am looking for something like this:
1st page:
2003
data data data data data data data data
data data data data data data data data
etc.
then on page 2:
2003 - cont.
data data data data data
data data data data data
data data data data data
data data data data data
2004
data data data etc.
data data data etc.
etc.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
