We have a 2-qmgr cluster on one Solaris server and messages are perfectly load balanced when put to cluster queues. We have one application (C++/XMS) to get from both cluster queues (with the qmgrs/queues/ports defined as parameters). This is an extremely high-volume application.
My problem: Although the application can get all messages from both queues for about 12 consecutive hours, the second queue defined begins to back up and messages cease to be pulled (though they continue to be put). Only after killing and restarting the application can "balanced getting" resume, leading me to believe the connection is somehow lost.
This is scheduled to go to production in the next month, so any suggestions on cause and cure would be greatly appreciated!
