Getting Error When Viewing Dimension

Hi All,
All of a sudden in my analysis manager ,I am getting this error when I am constructing a new dimension. " Could not view dimension , Could not find it's provider". May I know what could be the problem ?

One of the reasons could be if you would have uninstalled a program, which removes the oledb olap provider, you cannot view either cubes or dimensions. Try doing this, which will install the provider
1. Either remove the analysis services and reinstall
2. Or install office xp, which will install the latest oledb olap 8.0 provider.

WHy install office XP, and have to worry about license issues just to update the oledb driver? Any of the service packs will update all necessary files inclusing the OLEDB drivers.

IS this a new installation of Analysis Services? or was it working prior and now it isn't? First Try applying sevice pack3a. If you have already done this or are unsure if it has been done just reinstall the SP it won't hurt anything if it is installed twice.

Does this issue occur witnin a specific dimension or is it all dimensions. Or does it exist within a single Database on the Server?
