We have been running BE on this machine for over a month with no problems, but the last three nights the job has errored out with the following message:

Storage device "Quantum 0" reported an eror on a request to read data from media.

Error reported:
No more data is on the tape.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem on my system. It seems that BE is not very good with talking to tape. I have chosen to install Veritas driver for it, and use it exclusively for BE. Later I have discovered that VERITAS driver is not certified for Windows 2000 Server, and that the date of the driver file is somewhere in 1999. that might be part of the problem.

Has anybody solved that yet?
