Hello. I'm using CR 9 and Sql Server 2005. I have a report using a Command and also have tables not linked to each other. From CR 9, the report generates fine without an error. When this report is generated from Viewer, it populates an error

------------------------------------
Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer
"Cannot determine the queries necessary to get data for this report. Failed to open a rowset."
------------------------------------

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I'm surprised it runs at all without a link. Try and establish one - use SEARCH in the Crystal forums to find out how to link disimilar fields.

Generally it is a bad idea to use a command AND tables, since the linking must occur locally--it would be much preferable to build the tables into your command.

Second, ordinarily you need to link tables to each other, so we would need to know why you feel you cannot do this.
