Learning about .dll files. Created dll and application files. Need to know how to get files to work and where to put #pragma comment(lib, file.lib) for linking.

.dlls will not work by themselves. They need to be linked to an executable.

When building a .dll, you will get 2 files: a .lib and .dll. The .lib is a bunch of placeholders which get linked with the executable.

Make sure that the .dll is either in the same directory as the executable or on the execution PATH.
