I'm trying to get data out of an OLD Sybase database on an NT server. My client doesn't have any of the old disks, so there is no ODBC driver. I tried installing the DataDirect Sybase drivers, but I'm out of my element. I don't understand how to set the Named Pipes, and I can't use Winsock because I don't know the Port that was used.

Any ideas out there? Any third-part solutions that might work?

Thanks!

Microsoft DTS / IIS might work. Do you have a copy of SQL Server?

Which version of Sybase are you using?

The reserved port for Sybase products is TCP port 2638 and its worked on all installations I've used of Adaptive Server 5 and 6 (not used Sybase at all for ages).
