getting contacts into address book

My PC crashed and reloaded WinXP Home with Outlook 2003. Linked PST files via Data Management tools.

My email addresses now appear in Contacts instead of my address book. As The address book is essential to easy lookup when sending emails, can I either replicate contacts into address book or can I have my email lookup when composing an email link to Contacts instead. thanks.

To have you contacts show as an address book, right click on the contacts folder, select properties, and an the Outlook Address Book tab check the box next to "show this folder as an e-mail address book.

Keep in mind that lookup of contacts is just as easy as lookup of a PAB. And the PAB is deprecated in favor of Contacts.
