Hi,

I am trying to get the cdr data through the LAN-TCP-Client setting on the siemens hipath 3800 but I am not getting the output. The TCP server is not getting a connection from 3800. I have set the correct IP address and the port( ihave tried 9000,1202,1203Etc). but non is working.

Any one who has done this please help.

Thanks a bunch

Hi Siwisdom,

I have set this up quite a few times, do you know what port the server is expecting to see the data on?

All you need to do in the hi path is enter the ip of the server and matching port number. It usually takes another call to trigger the output to start.

Cheers

Please check the following settings

Output format = LAN-TCP ClIENT

Set Customer database printout to - v24 port application
Set Call info to - v24 port application

Open Lan Config tab below

tick Radio button

TCP-CLIENT

Set the IP address of the server/PC to output the raw data to.

The port address is defined by the Server/PC you are connecting to.

If this does not work then you need to connect a laptop locally to the kit. If you have a serial lead then check this connection also by changing the Output format to v24 port just to be sure.

Thanks a bunch guys (cody64 & Siemensgeeezer)

It worked. The issue was that the ip given to the TCP-CLIENT on the switch was wrong...

Corrected it and it worked fine... However I did have another issue where in the non-compressed format of the output it does not show the Account code field...
Any findings or comments on this guys?
