Getting big files when exporting to plt

Hi!

Using Corel Draw 12 to make plt files for a laser engraver. After upgrading to v. 12 the sizes of the exported plt files are much bigger than before. Used to have v. 7 and the files were about tens of kB, now up to 1 MB or even more. Does anybody know any setting I could try to get smaller files like I did before?
