I just got BE 9.1 and it set up ok except that any drive on one of the other servers (Where BE is not installed) show up as grayed out(other workstation assets are selectable but not the servers) and not selectable in the job selections. I have the drives mapped and I can get to them via explorer so they are available but BE does not want to play with them.

I asked Veritas and they said that I didn't need to buy any additional modules as long as the other servers were not in a remote location.

I can't figure this out. Can anyone help me?

Ajinsan5,

If I am reading your issue correctly, "other servers (Where BE is not installed)" then this server is a remote server. If this is true, then you will need to install the Remote Agent for Windows for Servers (RAWS)on the box. Once you do, you should then see drive volumes and shares.

One thing however, your user shares may still be greyed out. If this is the case, then you will need to go to Tools -> Options -> Network and check Enable selections for user shares.
