I assume this refers to the visual attribute properties of an item.
1) Create a visual attribute that contains the attribute(s) you want to reset.
2) In your items visual attribute group property, select the visual attibute you have just created.
3) Re-select the 'DEFAULT' visual attribute. This will re-set those attributes.
