I'm trying to retrieve back information (i.e; emails, contacts, ...etc) of Microsoft Outlook 2007 after the hard disk (C drive) has been formatted? How can I do that?

Thanks.

We need a lot more information than what you provided.

Is this in a Corporate environment?
Do you use Exchange?
Did you make a backup of your hard disk before it was formatted it? If so, what program did you use?
Have you done anything with the hard disk since it was formatted?

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for your kind reply. Actually, the hard disk was formatted after which it was noticed that the pst file was lost. No backup thus was made. Can the Microsoft Outlook 2007 emails, contacts, ...etc be retrieved from a formatted disk without having made a backup?

Thanks.

Since formatting, have you done ANYTHING with the drive?

If you haven't then you might have a small chance of recovery with GetDataBack. The free demo download will allow you to see if anything is recoverable but you'll have to purchase the full version to do the recovery.

Aside from that, your best option would be to find a professional data recovery service in your area.

Whatever you choose, do not do anything further with the drive.

For further reference, I always make a backup before doing any formatting, major clean up, virus removal, etc. on a drive.

Hope this helps.
