I am new to working with ASP pages. I have created a login.asp page linked to a database. I saved all the files locally and previewed them and they all worked fine, but when I uploaded them to my remote server they won't display. When you go to the URL of the asp page it gives you the prompt to download the file instead of viewing it in the browser. Any ideas??

[tt] Make sure your pages have the .asp extension.

With me, I have always found that was due to links when you preview locally.

If you look at the html code, do you see something like
file//c:/blah/bhal.asp

?

If yes, remove the file..... leaving only the path to get to the file, but in web format.

i.e. if you have to back up one directory
../newdirectory/file.asp

or file.asp if it's in the same directory, etc.
