Am I being a damned fool?
I have downloaded the beta2 version of Microsoft's super, wizzo Visual Studio .Net to try and stop myself from becoming obsolete.
Unfortunately when I create the obligitory "Hello World" page, save it as helloWorld.aspx and point IIS at it in the same way as I have been doing for the last couple of years with asp pages, it just asks me if I would like to download the file i.e. it doesn't understand the .aspx extension.
Should I try re-installing the .NET package, despite the 5 hours it took last time, or is there something I have neglected to do on IIS?
I am using Win 2000 Server + IE5
I would be greatful for any help.
Andy
