Hi,

Ok, i now have PWS up and running, but need the XSSI extentsions of apache. I have installed apache on the same workstation as PWS, but it just has a symbol in the bottom right with "no services installed"

Can someone tell me how to configure apache to run with PWS or ifs its not possible, tell me so!

Cheers

James

Apache does not show you that it is running like PWS does. There is no GUI or status icon in the tray. However, apache is a full blown web server where PWS is not so I don't know why you would want both of them running at the same time. It is possible to have them run at the same time but I don't know that you can get them to work together. You will find that they both will fight over port 80. You can change apache to listen to any port. Then you would call your web page using the port number i.e. depending on what server you want to respond. Mind you, this is not how things are usually done and I dare not say more lest I incense the purists amongst us. :)
