Hi there

On my switch, I want to get all the MAC-Adresses for the occupied ports:

The list looks like the following:
0000.8521.a2e8 2 GigabitEthernet0/1
0000.8570.e3c2 2 GigabitEthernet0/1
0000.8572.d28a 2 FastEthernet0/33
0000.8574.61ab 2 FastEthernet0/45
0000.f4c1.b769 2 FastEthernet0/39

Am I right: All the 'FastEthernet0/' entrys are in use; the number shows the port? I'm just a bit confused because some ports show ob twice...?

Thanks for your help
Simon

You are correct that the number is the port. If a port is showing up twice it could be because it is either a trunk port or had a hub/switch connected to it.

It could also show up twice if the router is proxy-arp'ing, or gratuitous arp.

Log onto the switch that it is trunked to. The mac's are over there.
