Getting ad banners to rotate?

Hiee peoples,

How do I get my ad banners to rotate?

For example…

Someone logs on my website and sees an American Express ad.
Another person logs on and sees a Crocodile Dundee 3 ad.
Another person logs on and sees an Amazon.com ad.
Etc.

I would like to build some kind of a queue, in which all the ads can rotate and have front page exposure.
I don’t want to manually change the front page ads.
I don’t want the ads to change in front of the reader’s eyes. I only want them to change when the user hits “refresh” or “logs on”.

Do you know what I mean?
Where can I learn how to do this?

You probably will need to use a cgi-type script for this purpose. But you could check out javascript.com and see if they have a script for the purpose there.
