I have a select query that has a variable list in it's fields, I woud like to have a total of entries in one field.

Example: Asm Station p/n

tea 1
pem 2

Total: 2
I need a total (to show on a report) of the items in the Asm Station field.
Any help for this novice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You

I believe that what you want is DCount. If you use this in an unbound field (a feild that isn't bound to the table) I think it will give you what you are looking for. I am sorry I don't have an example for you, but I thought I would give you something to try. If you look up DCount Function in Help it will show you the syntax and give you the definition so that you can see if it is what you need. Dawn
