Good Day,

I need some assistance with a TB report

I have one Group on a GL Account Type with the balances in the Details.

EG.

GH1 Revenue beg bal
DB CR
DET 400 500
400 200
GF1 SUM 800 700

Now I need to get the closing balance which is the DB sum minus the CR sum which should give me a balance of 100. However at the moment I am getting a zero balance with the following equation

(Sum ({@Beg_Bal_DB_AMT}) - Sum ({@Beg_Bal_CR_AMT}))

Any ideas that could assist me in getting this value to show?

Thanks

YOu have not told it which group you are using. Your formula is for the report total.

(Sum ({@Beg_Bal_DB_AMT}, {groupfield}) - Sum ({@Beg_Bal_CR_AMT}, {groupfield}))
