Ok, my inexperience is showing again. Please bear with me.

I have created this report based on a query. The report totals a number of different fields from the query. I have two issues happening:

1. The report produces a page for each record that I am counting. So for example, if the query has 147 records, that's how many report pages come up. I only need one report page.

2. When I try to add parameters to the query and run the report, it asks me for the parameters about 5 times. What is going on?

Thanks again everyone - you are so patient with us newbies!

Did you set the "Force New Page" option in the detail section of your report by accident?

I checked and it is set to "none".??

What is the height of your detail section? Is it so big that it can only accomodate one record per page?

Yes, the detail section is about the size of a page. Even if I changed that, wouldn't I still get a page for every record? Or rather, every record would be showing up? I want the report to only have one page with the totals of the records in the appropriate sections. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Sherry

Yes, it is...If it's only totals you are looking for, with no detail, you can reduce the detail section to nothing and include your controls in the report footer. Can you e-mail me your db?
