getting a "parram" variable from a VB ActiveX in IE

I have made an ActiveX dll in Visual Basic and I would like to ask this:

How can you load a "parram" variable from explorer into VB.

EG:

<object classid=&quot;clsid27CDB6E-ARtD-11CF-96B8-444553540000&quot; id=&quot;NetPets.sytes.net&quot;>
<param name=&quot;ID&quot; value=&quot;01254&quot;>
<param name=&quot;_cy&quot; value=&quot;5080&quot;>

i would then like to load ID and _cy as a VB variable. How can i do this???
