If you create a numeric Field and try to have 2 decimal percentage,

Well at first it will show the correcrt format (0.00%) but when you will try to insert the correct percentage, it won't write the decimals requested. (ie: if you write 12.25% you will receive 12.00%, and if you write 12.99% you'll get 12.00%) Why????

When you type in 12.25% that value is stored as .1225. If your field definition has only 2 decimals Approach has no place to keep the 3rd and 4th decimal places. So it is doing exactly what you told it to do!

Thank you Sue,

But the problem isn't solved. I already tried that but by choosing percentage with decimals and placing 4, I get still the correct format (ie: 0.0000%) but if you write 1.1111% you will get 1.0000% and 1.9999%, you get 1.0000%. I personnaly thing that it's a bug in the Lotus SmartSuite ,Approach v. 9.5 but I'm not 100% sur!!! I really appriciate your help.

If they're someone out there that know anythink else please notify me at icewizz_77@yahoo.com

Thank's again

hi,

I found the solution I though that you would like to know. To fix the problem I had to switch the size of the field from 10.2 to 8.5.
