Getting a list in Bridge from Indesign...how 2

Hi, when opening Bride from Indesign (or even separately), I am looking to get a list of items instead of thumbnails -- as I would in explorer.

In Bridge, on the "folder" side, I can get list of items, but on the "content" side, it always gives me thumbnails or actual images. On the little arrow on the upper right side gives me option for Horizontal, Vertical or Auto-layout.

I find it easier to look at list and choose the image plus it loads faster.

Any thoughts...Thanks.

View>As Details

Edit>Preferences>Thumbnails to show additional data beside the thumbnail. Bridge is great as it gives you insight to the file and what you're looking at.

Still there is no option for just the list (folder still beside it so not as compact.

Guess best for now.
