Hi all,

This probably quite easy to do, however I cant seem to work it out.

Basically I have a form and on it is a unbound box which I want to show the results of a query that has nothing to do with the form.

The query is Basically a count of differnet disk numbers in use so when the query called COUNTX is run it displays the following results

CountofDVDRW (Actual Field Name is DVDRW)
37

In the unbound text box on the form I put the data source as

queries![COUNTX].[CountofDVDRW]
Ive also tried
queries![COUNTX].[DVDRW]

But it does not work. Any suggestions

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Take a look at the DLookUp and/or DCount functions.

Hope This Helps, PH.
