Getting a counter to work using Frpontpage 2000

Everytime I update my web page my counter does not work. It keeps referring to my computer instead of my server's computer. Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

What kind of counter is it? If you look at the html, is there a tag like this:

<base href= something....?

If so change it to your web page URL.

Check the properties of the counter to make sure it is referencing the server and not your computer.

Make sure also that your development Web site on your computer is in a subweb, not just a folder. FrontPage needs a subweb for each Web site for many of the features to work properly. In a subweb, links point to the pages; in a folder, they point to the hard drive.
