GetTickCount() question

I know how to get it. Somewhere in the registry is stored the time since the last reboot. I can't find it. What I want to do is reset it without having to reboot the computer. If I knew where it was stored in the registry, then I could change the value.

Nope. GetTickCount gets it's info from a clock that it started when you boot your OS.

You may be thinking of the System Up Time counter in the performance data under HKEY_PERFORMANCE_DATA (NT/W2000/XP only), which is generally accessed through the performance monitor apis.

Note that since both GetTickCount and the counter mentioned above are defined as returning the system up time. Even if you COULD change them, you need to ask SHOULD you.
