Hi,
Code:
GETFILE(['DOC','DOCX','XLS','XLSX','PDF'],'Bestand','Selecteer',1,'Zoek bijlage')

This code gives nicely all captions and buttons in Dutch, with exception of the third button on the left, this guy is still in English on my pc 'New' any change to change the code so that also this one is translated/captioned into my taste?

Regards,

Koen

I don't think so, you can turn it off, and provide your own interface for New?

Griff
Keep [Smile]ing

There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

I'm trying to cut down on the use of shrieks (exclamation marks), I'm told they are !good for you.

As far as I know, you can't customise that label natively in VFP.

The alternative is to call the Windows Open dialogue (see here), which can be completely customised. Or (asuming you are running uder Vista or above), there are the Common Item dialogues described here. That has the advantage that it resembles the new standard dialogues that your users will be used to (but which is very differnt from the VFP style).

In fact, I think both of those options would default to Dutch captions, assuming your users have Dutch versions of Windows.

By the way, in VFP, it's not only the New button that can't be customised. Your users will see "Files of Type" and "Cancel" in English as well.

Mike

Mike,
Thanks for your input, in fact I was hoping to do it quick and dirty with getfile, however I don't like that Microsoft forgot to translate the third button caption.
I think I will have to switch to cmdDialog or one of the alternatives you showed me.
By the way, it is really only that button which is not translated.

( the second button cancel is nicely translated into Dutch ) the other captions are done by me, see the last three parameters.
Groet,
Koen
