GetDetailsEx File Comment

Hi,

I would like to retrieve a comment from a file (i.e. the one you can enter under the summary information in explorer).

Is GetDetailsEx the right API to use - has anyone implemented this within Visual Basic? Can I have a few tips please?

Has one bug though...

Say you copy a file from the server to local hard drive. Then use the dsofile.dll to retrieve the properties. Then you want to delete the local copy. This is where the bug comes in. The dsofile.dll will still have a lock on the file even if you have destroyed the object. To get around this set the dsofile.dll to another file and all will be fine.
