I am using DirectDraw to check the available video/texture memory on a graphics card during various run-time scenarios. It has worked well for me for a couple of years now.
I just received a new NVIDIA Quadro FX Go 1000 128MB in my notebook computer. It is running the latest released NVIDIA driver for that card on XP Pro SP2.
Using the same DD calls the Quadro returns that it only has about 14MB free, even when nothing is running.
Any clues what could be causing this?
Thanks.
