get voicemail from external line

we have an Avaya phone system and are wonder how we get our voicemails from home anyone know how its done?
 
call you voicemail, when you hear your personal voicemail press *7.

there are multiple ways of doing this, but you didnt give any information on what kind of voicemail you have. you should talk to whoever implemented your system, they should be able to set some stuff up for you.
 
Easiest way if you have DDI's is to use a free one and put the destination as voicemail

Also you could create an option (public or hidden) for user to dial when auto attendant answers, say "800" and that drives you to voicemail at once.

When DIDs are available is far most convenient, you just dial AAA BBB xxYY, and you call is being answered by IP Office
