Get sysadmin rights back !

I've got a SQL 2000 server in windows only authentication, and I have removed the BuilIn/Administrators group from the sysadmin role.

I have tried logging in as SA but I get the message 'Not associated with a trusted SQL server connection'

Is there a way out of this ?

reinstall SQL, but select the "Upgrade" option

OK managed to get around the sa prob with a registry edit, then could go in as sa and fix.
