Get session from a jsp application?

Dear All,
I have a new asp.net application which need to be integrated with some one else jsp application. So the login is based on jsp page. So how can I capture the session value based on jsp page in my asp.net page? Thx.

if it's possible, it's probably very to sharing sessions across asp and asp.net applications. there is plenty of information about this. google is a great tool.

Dear Jason,
I have see some sites are talking about inserting the info in a database and share it across both the application. The problem off course from my jsp I can insert into the database. But from asp.net how can I detect which user is the one now logged in? Must I use the ip address to help me is it? Any idea? Thx.

I'm not sure exactly, as I have never had a reason to share sessions between websites.
