Hi suoir,

Probably, but logically the server should update the client times - no? You then need only refer to the client time knowing it to be correct.
(Pointless implementing multiple client 'time-checking' when the server updates all client times).

Depends on the server op sys of course, but even so - you won't find it difficult to find the software (if not already in NT and Unix servers).

If you NEED this functionality, then look to VB - to be incorporated in Access, Access won't have it.

Our company is a call center. And we are based here in the Philippines. But our customers are in the US and Canada. So only the server has the US date and time. In VB its just a simple query that connects to the server ("select current_timestamp as svrDateTime")

But it doesn't work with Access. To make it more clearly, I use DSN to connect to my tables to server. I think I just change my question to: "IS THERE A WAY TO CONNECT TO SERVER WITHOUT USING DSN?"

Answers are really appreciated! :-D ePacific Global Contact Center
