Get rid of whitespace with 2 tables

Hi,
I have 2 tables on each page. The first one has up to 8 lines. The second one has up to 30 lines.

SoSo/Bill Bill 18

The problem is the white space between the crosstabs. I have tried FORMAT/TABLE for a few hours. When I try to do align, I get 2x and 4x times the # of pages. Or the 2nd table overlays the 1st table. etc,etc,etc
The best I could get it is about 10 lines of whitespaces between each table. The paging works fine for the 30 pages.

Is there an easy way to have it with only 1 line of whitespace?

Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean with 'line of whitespace'?
If these table are seperate entities you can format them relatively against each other in mm or in inches.

Format table --> Appearance tab --> Vertical position relative to

Now set the upper table against the upper section and the second table relative to the first one......
