Get rid of parenthesis in scoadmin?

I want to get rid of every parenthesis that appear in my scoadmin utility. I have root access, but can´t do nothing at all.

Which options are you trying to access?
some options are dependent on what you have selected in the middle dialog (assuming scoadmin on character term).
Other options are dependent on what is installed and who you are (some options need you to be logged in as root not just having certain authorizations).
