Get rid of Media Request in List of Alerts

Does anyone know how to stop the message class Media Request from appearing? When you change a tape just inserting it in the drive is not enough to continue the backup, you must to go to Alerts and OK the Media Request.
Can this be avoided?

Running on NT I've just left the Exec application closed when I don't want to interact with it. While the Exec is there the server defers to it. When the Exec is absent, the server seems to go ahead without interaction.

I just swap tapes, let it run, and watch for exceptions in the NT application log.

The answer to this can be found on the Veritas support web site. The technote lists some registry entries you can make to have these 'messages' answer themselves after a specified timeout period. Disregard the subject line of this technote. Note: it shows you how to do this for version 7.x & 8.x so be sure you follow the steps for the correct version you have. The link is below.
