Get Record on one line

Problem

Data base with three records on seperate lines.
Say
Part Number, Info a, Info b, info c

A CHAR1
A CHAR2
A CHAR3

how can I get onto 1 line for each part number so
A CHAR1 CHAR2 CHAR3

WITH NUMBERS YOU CAN SUM ON PARTNO AND IF YOU DO NOT SUM NUMERIC FIELD THEY COME ONTO ONE LINE. However, with characters this does not work

Help with this would be greatly appreciated

What indicates which of the three fields to use in the "summary" record. In this case there are six unique ways to pick one of the three field from each of the three records (without repeating a record).
