get multifunction device cmd pci-0640 pci to ide controller

Even after trying it all still can't get this error message to stop. Multifunctional Device cmd pci-0640 to ide controller etc.. etc.. Have tried the ms fix in the registry, that seems to be the fix but its not working on this machine?
