Get Long Path Name A

Every time I download something it tells me to get LongPathNameA. It will let me download it , but when I go to install it tells me this.How do I fix this problem?

How are you d/l?
Are you on a Network?
What's the OS 95? 98?
Does this happen to 'everything' you d/l??
What's your System setup specs ?
IE5? Mozilla? IE6??
Using FTP protocol??
