Hi All.

I've got an ip office running 9.0.1.x, and after replacing a defective SD card the customer had received when the system was installed, the system is up and running.

However when I go to the webpage I don't see any place where I can download the inventory.xml file.

I've pulled it off of tons of other, but when I go to the webpage, I don't see anything. I have a list of the system setup, but no On-Boarding capability.

Am I losing my mind... or is it somewhere else?

Regards

Probably doesn't have the files for web manager on the card. Recreate it using a 9.0.1 Manager.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Hi sizbut.

I did rebuild the card before putting it in the system. I chose all of the options available, including the web ones.

As well I also turned web security off on the system when other attempts failed.

I forgot to mention one fact as well; that even connected to the unit directly, the web interface was incredibly slow to come up.

Update: I found this when searching avaya's knowledge base:

will give it a try and advise.

Regards

Did you by chance upgrade them to 9.1 in the process of replacing the SD card? The on boarding section moved in 9.1 web management.

Hi All.

Phone9uy: no, they were kept at 9.0.1.xxx which they were previously.

I just went and Formatted with Manager the old SD card, recreated it as a uLaw, and loaded the system files on to it with embedded file management, and I can see the tools now.

Thanks to everyone for all of their help.

(Anyone else having the issue, if you look at the SON I posted the link to above) that is where I found the answer. The tiny 298:3 was the missing piece of the puzzle when I went searching...)

Regards

I have seen similar problems a few times when the SD card is created with Manager in the notebook.

If you then go to file management and upload system files, there are a few hundred files to be uploaded. Problem solved.
It's like Manager didn't copy all files to the card, but it's a smaller number of files then the complete copy process.
