Is there a way using visual basic/vbscript to download an html document from a website? This can include an ActiveX control, but I'd prefer not to have to find and install one. I'm trying to find a way to download an html document from somewhere like quote.com and parse it for the stock quote values and then return them to where ever.

Thanks.

You need to look into the Microsofts webbrowser control and using the innerhtml to do string manipulation.
