I am working in two data bases, the one containing the operations being linked to the other containing the tables. I recently imported some data that is distributed between three of the tables. Since then, when I try to update information from a specific form on my desktop PC (let's call it PC1) I get the error message dynaset is not updateable. All other forms still work properly. I first tried renaming and relinking the databases on PC1 and the error persisted. I sent both data bases to a different computer (let's call it PC2) across the net, renamed both the operational and tables data bases, reset the links and the specific form that gave the error on PC1 now worked properly on PC2. Moved both of the data base files that worked on PC2 back to PC1. Error still there. Used a direct cable connect to move the renamed data bases from PC1 to a lap top, PC3, and the misbehaving form allowed updates there. Would appreciate assistance on how to make the data base work on PC1 again.

Are you on 2 different Domains?
Is PC1 on a different domain that PC2
Are you running Win NT on one and '9x on another?
You don't mention whether the form's underlying query works separately. Perhaps it or the form itself on PC1 has been corrupted. You could try renaming it (xOldName) and importing the working form one of the working versions.

In reply to DougP and his question about domains:

PC1 is using Windows 95
PC2 is using Windows 98
PC3 is using Windows 95
