Get data from a web page and insert into DB

Hi there,

I am looking to provide a link to a PHP script, have it parse the comma delimited data on that page so I can enter the data I want into a mysql DB..

Here is an example of the page

http://www.fftwelve.com/totstatsfx.php?folder=Monsters&pos=QB&weekstat=YTD&list=all&cnf=1&howmany=

Can you point me in the right direction to get started on this?

i've never used it, but i believe php's cURL functions allow making http requests, which you could then parse

cURL is good for that, I would recommend using plain socket/stream functions and compose your own HTTP request.
That is an invaluable learning experience and will teach you a lot about handling HTTP requests.
