I'm new to Project and I'm hoping someone can help me. My office works a standard schedule of 8:30am to 5pm with a half-hour lunch break at an unspecified time. I've been exploring the calendar display stuff and setting up a custom base calendar. I can now create a new project and specify my own base calendar and have the correct work schedule appear. <<thank you thank you>> BUT, on the map showing the work schedule, all the work days are shaded the "edited working hours" pattern, and the "set selected dates to" option is set on "non-default working time". Is there some way I can make our schedule display as the default? Or is this just wired by MS and we can't "get in there"?
