How to get back to root directory
I once needed a simple but effective way to return to my
programs root directory each time I returned from a
shell, rather than type it out each and every time (there
are 4 shells in my program)

Someone (on another site) had a question regarding PATHS and libraries. Here's the site:

Once you're there, goto the section that says "REPLIES" and look the for response entitled "Here try this ..." and read that. I believe that, that is what you are trying to accomplish.
